Serene Botanical Wedding

A romantic wedding in creamy neutrals, made wild with delicate plant life.

Katherine and Kevin met at a plant biology class in University, so it was only natural to incorporate their love of plants and subsequently some flora (pears) and fauna (bees) into the design.

A neutral palette suited their day-to-day style, so we carried that through into their wedding. The bold geometry of the museum’s vast, glass-walled space called for a timeless look with an emphasis on delicate blooms to soften and balance the surroundings. Cassie Mae Design built free-standing floral botanical sculptures that took center stage in the reception space, inspired by some of Katherine and Kevin’s favourite art and architecture observed in their travels together.
