Literally tried uploading this picture of my first baby seven times yesterday for Mother’s Day, but it just never worked out and today is a new day. Congratulations Alli and Dan! 💍 xoxo (captured by @megansteenphotography) Just as everyone is starting their busy wedding season, I’m suiting up for my last wedding before my self-proclaimed, small business owner maternity leave. So honoured and excited to spend the day coordinating for @allimaefresh’s colourful wedding! (Also, this is not me today at #35weekspregnant.) So much fun! 🍋 Colour palette inspiration for a little girl’s Iridescent Tea Party 5th Birthday I had the pleasure of designing. Lots of iridescent details, balloons, pink buffalo check and a little tea cup decorating DIY for an activity. I can’t wait to see how momma @corinnemartens pulls all the details together next month! 🌸 I was casually scrolling through the @100layercakelet blog yesterday and discovered Enzo's second birthday disco pizza party was on the Best of 2017 list. What a feeling to be right where I find myself inspired by other talented individuals and creative parties ✨ My talented stationery friend Jess of @thatfirstspark launched her website recently! Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Orange you glad I told you? 🍈🍋🍊😝 Four years married today and it has really flown. This morning Jeff and I were reminiscing about how we started our wedding day together, just the two of us, with breakfast at Stella's and celebrated the following morning with family and friends over a Fort Garry Hotel Sunday brunch. Two really wonderful decisions ✨ Ask Enzo (two) what his mom does for work and he'll probably say I work at Starbucks because I frequent coffee shops so often to get work done. It is true a lot of the work I do is logistics, preparation and communication on the computer. That is what he is familiar with seeing me do, and I wanted to show him the other side of things. So, this weekend I took him to work with me for the first time to set up some wintery centrepieces for a corporate holiday party. He's already a big helper and "worked" all morning with hardly a complaint. You may be seeing more of him in a few years helping out with setups! You won't find me at the #wonderfulweddingshow2018, but I am booking into 2019 and 2020 for wedding coordination, design and full planning ✨ Follow the profile link to our website to learn more and give me a shout! It's been a fun year for business and I am so thankful for all my lovely clients, plus we have a little one set to arrive at the end of May - just after we get to move into our house! And because we both have kids ourselves, we know the best photos come from kids being kids, so we have a few activities in the mix too, including hot chocolate for the kiddos to sip. Spots are limited, contact @gabrielletouchettephoto to book yours ✨ Feeling a bit sad that I'm not hosting a Thanksgiving dinner this year, but it's because a lot of exciting things are happening, like a wedding to coordinate on Sunday, a new house to plan for (we get possession in a couple weeks!), and my mom is making her way to Tokyo tomorrow for a jam-packed week long trip of a lifetime. But we're totally taking in a Thanksgiving brunch with my dad on Monday and dinner with Jeff's family later on. If anyone is wondering where all the pumpkin pie went - 🙋🏻
